Medical Assistant

As a medical assistant to a small private practice, you will enjoy a team-oriented career. We are willing to invest in career development, and provide benefits after probational period. Duties include answer the phone, schedule appointments, take notes, be friendly and greet all patients with respect. You will also be responsible for rooming the patients, checking vital signs, and documenting in the electronic medical record, performing tests such as point-if-care-testing for blood sugar, INR, and administering flu shots. Must be reliable, dependable, pass a background check, drug test, quantiferon gold, and immunization records.
